$27.38/hour

Qualifications:

Diploma in Motive Power or certification of qualifications as an Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician Minimum of three (3) years experience working in a motive power environment Computer literacy and excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment In-person, on-site position; must be able to reliably commute and/or relocate to North Bay, ON

Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes and conducts demonstrations and experiments explaining correct procedures and theoretical principles. Demonstrate and enforce safe working habits and monitor the students in the shop environment Conduct skill demonstrations for students and assist in student evaluations for post-secondary and apprenticeship students Ensure all materials required for shop projects are on-hand and inventory available Maintain all shop equipment and tools in safe working condition Prepare and safely move vehicles in and out of the shop environment Maintain, set-up and dismantle required daily training aids Other duties as assigned
