We invite applications for the following position:

School Counsellor Position (Grades K - 5)

Full time (1.0 EFT) position to commence September 2025

St. John's-Ravenscourt School has an opening for a full-time Counselling position, beginning in September 2025. Applicants should have experience teaching and counselling in a K-12 school setting. This position requires the ability to consult and collaborate with teachers, clinical services staff, administrators, and parents to support students' social and emotional well-being and development. Responsibilities also include teaching health, coordination of individual and small group wellness activities, development of behaviour plans and other care related interventions.

Applicants for this position must hold school counsellor certification in the province of Manitoba, or be eligible to obtain certification, and preferably will hold a Master of Arts degree in Counselling (or a related field) and be certified as a Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Specialized training in trauma-informed care for young children, Psychological First Aid, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Violent Threat Risk Assessment would be considered an asset.

Pay: $72,586.00-$126,481.46 per year
