Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in our school. This role is essential in upholding the standards of cleanliness and hygiene in commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, kitchen and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective cleaning procedures. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues. Follow established protocols for waste disposal and recycling. Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to address any repair or maintenance tasks as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning, particularly in commercial settings, is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A proactive approach to identifying areas needing attention or improvement in cleanliness. Join us in creating a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and staff!
Please note hours of cleaning must be between 4:30pm - 7:00am. flexible with the time slot but must be reported. The cleaning cannot take place during school day operations. On Fridays must be done by 7:00pm. The cleaning of the place takes 3 hours everyday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
