Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to safely transport children to and from school within designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, and experience driving a school bus.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Ensure the safety of all children and educators during transit by enforcing safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the bus before and after shifts Keep accurate records of trips and any incidents or delays Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation safety and passenger care

Experience

Prior experience with school bus driving is preferred, especially in transporting children Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive travel experience Excellent communication skills for clear interactions with passengers and team members Mechanical knowledge of vehicle operation is beneficial for basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness but not required Writing skills helpful for completing reports or documentation related to daily operations
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Work Location: In person
