Bus Driver

Duties:
- Safely operate a school bus or public transportation vehicle to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules
- Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus as needed
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicate with dispatch or transportation coordinator regarding any issues or delays
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Ability to write reports and complete required paperwork accurately
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the vehicle
