Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible School Bus/ Charter Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing safe and reliable transportation services, particularly for children and seniors. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to engage positively with passengers of all ages. Multilingual candidates, especially those fluent in French and English, are highly encouraged to apply. Morning + Afternoon school runs (Monday to Friday)
Charters for weddings, trips, summer camps, and corporate events.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit. Assist children and seniors in boarding and disembarking the bus as needed. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, and staff regarding schedules and any changes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries or concerns promptly. Document any incidents or mechanical issues that arise during routes. Engage with passengers in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a bus driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Experience working with children or seniors is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates (French/English) are encouraged to apply due to the diverse needs of our community. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with passengers and staff. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for conducting vehicle inspections and addressing minor issues. Experience in teaching or customer service can enhance interactions with passengers, ensuring a positive experience for all. Experience:

school bus or commercial vehicle driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Minimum Class 2 with "S" endorsement (preferred)
