Overview

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated School Bus and Mini Bus Driver to safely transport students on set bus route. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine care for children and passengers. . Prior experience with school bus driving, , or commercial driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate school buses, mini buses, according to traffic laws and company policies Transport students, children, or other passengers to designated locations on scheduled routes Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and support as needed Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, or clients regarding schedules or safety protocols Maintain accurate records of pre and post trips, and logs Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

School Bus Driver valid class 2 licence, Mini Bus Driver valid Class 4 up to 24 passengers Experience in bus driving, school bus driving, or paratransit services highly desirable Strong communication skills in English; Experience working with children or youth demonstrating patience and compassion Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance is advantageous Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally Good writing skills for documentation purposes Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations
