Overall Accountability


The School Assistant, Healthy Choices Program will support the implementation and on-going operation of a School Nutrition Program working with the Consultant, Comprehensive School Health and the Principal.




Specific Accountabilities


Responsible for distribution and service of foods Communicates with outside program vendors Responsible for distribution, collection and cleaning of small wares, dishes etc. Assists with production of food items Records data of food distribution and management Responsible for inventory management of program





Qualifications


High school diploma Commercial food service experience preferred Food Safety Alberta Certification (within last 3 years) preferred Standard First Aid preferred Valid Alberta Driver's License and a vehicle in good operating condition Basic knowledge of Microsoft office Strong organizational skills Effective interpersonal skills
