Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist the supervisor and assistant in the daily delivery of one of our 5 School Age Care (SAC) programs.

-Assist in the supervision and safety of the children, positive guidance and be a positive role model.
-Assist in the program planning and implementation of program activities and snack preparation.

-Transport children safely between school and community centre daily.

- Ensure that each child is picked up and signed out daily by an individual authorized to do so.

-Adhere to respectful workplace etiquette and appropriate.

- Maintain a professional relationship with parents, families, and staff team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

? Some experience in a childcare program

? Responsible Adult Course/Child and Youth Leadership/ECE or ECEA

? Clear Criminal Record Search

? Valid First Aid Certificate

Hours of work

This is an on-call position. We are looking for casual subs who are available to accept shifts last minute at least 3 days a week for one (or both) of the following shift times:

7:30am-9:00am

and/or

2:00pm-6:00pm

Additional hours may be available on Pro Days, School Closures and School Breaks (Winter, Spring, Summer).

Wage

$21.50/hour

This position is potentially eligible for the additional ECE Wage Enhancement if you hold a valid ECE certificate.
