Job Description
We are looking for in energetic individual who enjoys the outdoors to join our School Age Care Program. Must be comfortable working alone with a maximum of 12 children.
Job description:
Monday to Friday 6:45am to 9am and 1:45pm to 6pm (this is a split shift)
Extra hours for: Pro D Days, Spring & Winter Break and Summer Camp
Responsibilities:
-Supervision of children at the Center and in outdoor environments
-Ability to work independently and with the team
-Prepare and implement daily curriculum
-Documenting daily events, incidents and activities
-Helping to assess children's development and implement plans
Qualifications:
-20 hours of education pertaining to children's development
-First aid certificate or must be obtained within one month of hiring
-Valid drivers license preferred
-Clean criminal record check
-Good physical condition because we walk the children to and from school on occasion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 31 - 35 per week
