The Position
The successful candidate must be self-directed team player who will support the Administration team and manage day-to-day operations of the school. The successful candidate must be flexible and be willing to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day following the school calendar. This position commences August 22, 2025 and will end June 25, 2026.
Duties for this position include:
providing a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, colleagues and visitors to the the school
Performing finance and accounting duties such as purchasing functions, reconcile accounts, monitor school budgets, month end reporting procedures, employee expense reports and invoices
Managing date and produce reports
Updating School Website
Supervising students as needed, providing support and assistance
Liaising with Regional Office, Alberta Education and other public organizations as needed
Tracking and inputting staff absences
Qualifications:
Self-motivated and efficient with superior organizational skills
Possess excellent public relations and communication skills
Have strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish priorities
Able to exercise a high degree of confidentiality
Able to work independently and to collaborate to provide team support
Ability to work in a high energy setting with changing priorities
Experience with budgets, purchase orders, petty cash journals, statements and invoices
Excellent computer and technology skills in programs such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat,
Experience with PASI, Genius SIS, Rycor, and PowerSchool is an asset
Post-secondary training in office administration is an asset
