Job Summary



This role will support the Senior Scheduler in strategically developing and maintaining production schedules that align with product demand, customer expectations, storage capacity, and internal production capabilities. The Scheduling Coordinator will assist in creating efficient, forward-looking schedules and forecasts by leveraging internal systems and scheduling tools. This position plays a key role in supporting strategic planning efforts that optimize production flow, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Job Duties



Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Procurement, Warehousing, and Quality to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment with operational capabilities.

Maintain and update scheduling tools and systems to reflect real-time changes and priorities.

Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Communicate schedule changes or potential delays to relevant stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

Assist in capacity planning by evaluating production constraints and suggesting adjustments as needed.

Support inventory management by aligning production plans with inventory targets and raw material availability.

Document scheduling procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and support training needs.

Participate in root cause analysis for missed schedules or production inefficiencies.

Provide backup support to the Senior Scheduler as needed, ensuring continuity of scheduling operations.

Requirements



3+ years of experience in a similar scheduling or planning role within a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment preferred.

Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Syspro is considered a strong asset.

Excellent computer literacy, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).



Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey scheduling updates and collaborate across departments.

Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Action-oriented and self-motivated; able to take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on objectives independently.

Prior experience with project planning or scheduling tools is beneficial to support the development of strategic scheduling practices.

Ability to analyze data and identify trends to support proactive scheduling decisions.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
