You would play an integral role in the service delivery of critical homecare supports for Nova Scotians who rely on Remember When Homecare Ltd. to maintain independence. Effectively scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients in their respective regions, you will ensure positive homecare experiences for our clients and their families in homes and in care facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:



Use scheduling software effectively to fulfill clients' care plans according to client preference and caregiver availibility Communicate and provide caregivers with accurate schedules on a monthly basis Ensure caregivers are scheduled effectively and efficiently Communicate, in a timely manner, with clients and families when schedule challenges arise, and problem-solve effectively to fulfill shifts using alternative dates/times Maintain accurate records of care provider availability and ensure continuity of care whenever possible Maintain accessibility by phone and email for clients, caregivers, and management Maintain and prioritize positive relationships with caregivers, clients, and their families Liaise with team members to share client and caregiver feedback Resolve or escalate, as required, client concerns and/or issues Ensure accurate, timely documentation and/or phone calls, both external and internal Enter all critical and relevant information into the system for appropriate follow-up and documentation record keeping

Qualifications:



Must have prior scheduling experience Must have good computer skills and be proficient in using a computer and cell phone Demonstrate exceptional communication, using professional etiquette Be able to remain composed in stressful situations Combine strong interpersonal skills with problem-solving abilities Be self-directed as to manage time and priorities effectively Homecare knowledge or a healthcare background will be considered an asset Must have clear criminal record check and clear vulnerable sector check prior to hire
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
