Overview

We are seeking many dedicated and passionate Bilingual (French and English) Tutors to join our educational team. This position offers both in-person and remote work with a preference for in-person oriented tutors. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge background in their desired subject, teaching/tutoring experience is a plus. This role highly values experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual student needs.

Duties

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students (either in-person or remotely) in various subjects. Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and requirements of each student. Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development to enhance their academic performance. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence and motivation. Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources, including technology, to enhance the learning experience. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding academic development. Collaborate with other educators to support students' overall educational experience.

Requirements

Must be fluent in both French and English. Strong enthusiasm or proven experience in regards to working with children in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of concepts and principles related to desired subject. Classroom experience or background in teaching is highly desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus, enabling support for diverse learners. Excellent computer skills for utilizing educational software and online resources during tutoring sessions. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues while demonstrating patience and understanding.
