Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school. Job assignments will be based on available projects during the work term and on the skills and interests of the student. We encourage undergraduate candidates with relevant work experience (other co-op terms, work experience) to apply. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Length of internship: Minimum of 8 months with the possibility to extend it as per business needs.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications: 3+ months of experience in some of the following areas:

• C/C++ programming language
• Python multipurpose programming language
• One or more version control tools (svn, git)
• Command-line applications in both Windows and Linux
• Batch and Bash commands

Preferred Qualifications: 3+ months of experience with:

• Continuous integration frame works such as Jinkins, Travis, github actions
• FFMPEG and any video rendering software solutions.
• Completed University undergraduate courses discussing video compression / processing workflows
• Cloud native, orchestration, container, virtualization, edge computing, and networking technologies
