We are seeking a Scaffolder to erect and dismantle scaffolding structures for various projects in the residential, commercial, industrial sector. Working with frame, system, tube and clamp. This is a non-union role.

• We also have jobs in Quebec, we would have you obtain your CCQ cards as well (Commission de la Construction du Quebec).

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Adhere to all relevant safety standards and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with Team Lead, construction teams, and other trades to ensure seamless coordination and adherence to project timelines.
• Adhere to Team Lead's instructions on site.
• Safely handle and transport scaffolding materials to and from the construction site, ensuring proper storage and organization.
• Provide guidance and support to team members where needed, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
• Some out-of-town projects with advance notice (travel, food, and lodging provided)

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Scaffolder in a construction or industrial setting.
• Possession of a valid Working at Heights certificate.
• Understanding of scaffolding regulations, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Possession of a swing stage training certificate is considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of tube and clamp considered an asset.

• Steel-toed boots (required)
• Valid G driver license (asset)

Work Location : In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ottawa, ON K1B 3S1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

Experience:

• Scaffolding: 1 year (preferred)
