Jardeg is recruiting Scaffolder Journeypersons to join the maintenance team at CNRL Albian near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders that have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a fly in, fly out position. Charter flights are provided by the company from Calgary or Edmonton. The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off working 11.5 hours per day, allowing you a great work life balance. This project has two major turnarounds and several smaller outages throughout the year providing consistent long-term work with the financial benefit of working outages and turnarounds for additional overtime.

Scaffolders provide safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety. Assemble, dismantle, modify system and tube and clamp scaffolds.
A scaffolder Journeyperson will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
• Practice safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
• Be fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
• Have knowledge of isometric drawings an asset
• Support colleagues and participate in skills transfer
• Prioritize daily workload with managing materials efficiently

Preferred Requirements

Scaffold Certificate affiliation is preferred

Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities.

Minimum Requirements

Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09

Confined Space Entry Energy Safety Canada Certified

Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection Energy Safety Canada Certified

Basic Rigging Certification (company provided)

Valid Government Issued Identification
