Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced scaffold foreman to oversee and coordinate and build construction projects on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities fluent in English , technical expertise in scaffolding s such as tube and clamp , system scaffolding , cantilever scaffolds and temporary roof installations and creating material gear lists and all safety paperwork related to the job site , and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. As a scaffold Foreman, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time, safely, and to high-quality CSA standards and regulations. This position offers an opportunity to lead teams, manage daily site operations, and contribute to diverse construction projects from residential commercial and small industrial projects .

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of scaffolding crews to ensure timely project completion Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide work processes Complete all safety paper work related to the job site daily. Erect and dismantle scaffolding adhering to all CSA safety regulations and codes. Ensure all workers adheres to safety standards and building codes. Train and mentor crew members in the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures on how to erect and dismantle scaffolding safely. Manage material inventory with yard staff for timely delivery of supplies. Conduct quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in scaffolding minimum of 3 years. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics , rough sketches. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools. Knowledge of construction safety protocols and CSA standards and codes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver licence is a asset .
This position is integral to the successful delivery of construction projects. The scaffold Foreman will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, technical competence, and leadership qualities to support our team's success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$36.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
