What You'll Do

• Lead by example to uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring all team members follow relevant policies and regulations.
• Manage daily sawmill operations, focusing on improving productivity, reducing costs, and optimizing lumber quality and recovery.
• Engage, support, and develop employees through continuous improvement initiatives, performance reviews, and effective communication.
• Assist in maintenance planning, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure quality and operational goals are consistently met.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in a sawmill facility
• 5+ years experience in managing a team
• Ability to relocate to Bathurst, New Brunswick
• Commitment to learning French, if not already fluent
