Job Description

Boucher Bros Lumber Ltd. is seeking an experienced Merchandiser Operator to fill a role in our Sawmill just North West of Nampa, Alberta. Applicants must have proven sawmill-operating experience. This role is responsible for operating the company's Head Saw in a safe and efficient manner while achieving the production goals. The position requires shift work but will typically have weekends off.

Qualifications:



Must have a minimum 1 - 3 years experience as a Merchandiser Operator in a high volume and demanding environment.

High level of integrity and work ethic.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Team player but also possesses the ability to work alone.

Written and Oral communication skills in English and/or French.

Excellent time management and organization skills.

Ability to document tasks.

Bondable

Current Standard First Aid Certification is an asset

Physically Fit

Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Education and Experience:



High school diploma preferred but not required.

Shift Schedule:

(all shifts are subject to change)

Day Shift: 6:30am to 6:00-6:30pm

Night Shift: 6:30pm to 6:00-6:30am

Overtime paid for as required

Other Requirements:



Flexibility to shift schedules both Day or Night.
