Job Summary:

Valley Granite Products is a stone fabrication shop seeking a full-time

Saw & CNC Technician

to join our production team. This role involves operating and maintaining a CNC bridge saw, cutting stone materials to specification, and keeping pace with high-volume production demands. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Essential Functions:

Operate and oversee CNC bridge saw machinery for precision cutting of stone slabs. Read and interpret job drawings, templates, and production schedules with accuracy. Ensure all cuts meet quality standards, dimensions, and client specifications. Maintain high levels of productivity to meet shop output and deadlines. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of saw and CNC equipment. Work closely with shop staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of materials. Adhere to company safety standards and workplace procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience operating a CNC bridge saw in a stone fabrication environment (required). Strong knowledge of granite, quartz, and other stone cutting techniques. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and templates. Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Valid work visa/SIN number to legally work in Canada.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level. Competitive benefits including paid vacation, health insurance, and dental/vision coverage.
