Position Overview:

The Driver is responsible for providing the best in class service while delivering products and equipment to the customer. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills and high levels of attention and detail accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

\xe2\x97\x8f Operate a 26-foot straight frame delivery vehicle in a safe, courteous and efficient manner.

• Responsible for loading and unloading of orders supplies to customer

\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure accuracy in product delivery

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for general housekeeping of the delivery truck

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for daily circle checks, completion of logs as required as per our transportation policy and procedures manual

\xe2\x97\x8f Operates lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and Order Picking machine

\xe2\x97\x8f Communicates with warehouse staff and Customer Account Managers

\xe2\x97\x8f Reports information to the Warehouse Manager and Regional Operations Manager.

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for maintaining a clean driver abstract and reporting any incidents or accidents that occur and advising of any changes in status to your abstract or license.

\xe2\x97\x8f Involved with information that is primarily straightforward

\xe2\x97\x8f Some problem-solving is required

\xe2\x97\x8f Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies or in the event or irregularities relating to pickup of delivery or cargo

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintains records for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information

\xe2\x97\x8f Verify product and accuracy with customers at locations

\xe2\x97\x8f Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications:

Experience:

\xe2\x97\x8f Job calls for ability to handle powered machinery

\xe2\x97\x8f G License Required

\xe2\x97\x8f DZ License is an asset

\xe2\x97\x8f Clean Drivers Abstract

\xe2\x97\x8f Fork-lift license is an asset
