We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee and expand our business operations within a designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients while also driving new business development through effective sales strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, account management, and territory management to achieve sales targets and foster long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and lead generation strategies.
Execute outside sales activities, including cold calling, product demos, and upselling initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional efforts with sales goals.
Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
Provide technical sales support and product knowledge to clients, ensuring they understand the value proposition of our offerings.
Negotiate contracts and close deals while adhering to company policies and pricing structures.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
Skills
Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development within a B2B environment.
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Familiarity with CRM software and technology sales is preferred.
Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making and strategy development.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present product demos effectively.
Experience in retail sales or direct sales is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
