Job Description

Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced SAP SD IS-RETAIL Architect contractor to join their project immediately and will run for 6 months with the strong possibility of a multi-year extension. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in IS-RETAIL & IS-OIL coupled with a strong understanding in SD and LE. They must have prior experience in leading design workshops, gathering requirements, and translating them into functional and technical specifications. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive decision-making and provide strategic direction for retail-centric SAP implementations. This position follows a hybrid model, requiring 2-3 days on-site, with travel demands gradually reducing as the project evolves.
Key Responsibilities:

• Must have previous SAP SD Architecture experience.
• As an Architect, you will be responsible leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Sales and Distribution modules, ensuring SAP landscape aligns with business strategies, optimizes processes, and integrates seamlessly with other systems.
• The perfect candidate will have both IS-RETAIL & IS-OIL experience, but IS-RETAIL is the more important skill set.
• Needs to be deep in SD and LE.
• Technical skills to work with the development team to analyze and recommend a path for some of the existing customizations and interfaces.
• Will be driving blueprint and detail design workshops and needs to have experience doing that before.
