Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support.
Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile (SAFe, Scrum), Waterfall, and Kanban.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality to ensure timely delivery within scope and resources.
Coordinate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP modules and integrations.
Oversee vendor management activities including selection, negotiations, performance monitoring, and relationship building.
Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes across the organization.
Supervise project teams, including internal staff and external consultants; provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management.
Utilize tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and ServiceNow for planning and collaboration.
Conduct data analysis and collection to support decision-making; prepare presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
Monitor project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with quality standards like SAS and other quality management practices.
Drive product development initiatives related to ERP systems enhancements; oversee project implementation phases ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT project management with a focus on SAP ERP systems in Greenfield or Brownfield implemenations.
Excellent communication skills
with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMBOK, Agile (SAFe), Waterfall; certification such as PMP or PMI-ACP preferred.
Previous experience in any SAP Module consulting and supervising cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Vendor management expertise including negotiation skills and contract oversight.
Proficiency with SAP Modules like FICO, Sales & Distribution, and Materials Management is added advantage.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in requirements gathering and project planning.
Knowledge of data analysis techniques using SAS or similar tools; experience with Salesforce or Workday is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under tight deadlines; demonstrated leadership in program management initiatives.
Experience in change management practices within large organizations; familiarity with risk management strategies is advantageous. This role is integral to driving strategic initiatives through effective project execution while fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders to achieve organizational success in SAP product development and implementation projects.
