Our Information Technology, Services (ITS) Department is looking for SAP Program Assistant to join their team!
What You Will Do
--------------------
Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Solutions, you will serve as the SAP Program Assistant responsible for the within the ITS Department. In this role, you will ensure that all program deliverables are aligned with SAP methodology--whether cloud-based or on-premise--and that governance structures are supported to maintain consistency and accountability across the organization.
You will take the lead in organizing and facilitating key program activities, including sponsor and steering committee meetings, business workshops, and stakeholder communications. You will also support procurement processes by preparing and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOW), ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
A critical part of your role will involve tracking and reporting on program progress. This includes monitoring issues, risks, costs, resource allocation, and procurement status to ensure transparency and informed decision-making. You will develop and maintain standardized reporting tools, templates, and centralized documentation repositories to support efficient program execution.
Collaboration will be essential, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams--such as development, configuration, security, testing, and system administration--to ensure seamless integration throughout the SAP lifecycle. You will also provide subject matter expertise on internal ITS processes, identifying opportunities for process reuse and integration to enhance operational efficiency.
You will support both internal and external audits related to SAP program delivery and prepare executive-level presentations and reports for sponsors and governance bodies. Additionally, you will promote the SAP program through internal communications and updates to the SAP TTC website, helping to build awareness and engagement across the organization.
Your responsibilities will also include budget oversight, with regular assessments of financial performance against approved funding to ensure fiscal discipline. You will contribute to the development and implementation of reporting standards and mechanisms that capture program risks, issues, and both qualitative and quantitative benefits.

A University Degree, or College Diploma in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Proven experience in program or project coordination, preferably within SAP or large-scale ERP environments.
Strong understanding of SAP methodology and program governance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of procurement processes including RFP and SOW development.
Must have or be able to rapidly acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Ontario Human Rights Code and related accessibility legislation, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and applicable TTC policies including but not limited to Respect and Dignity and Workplace Violence.
