Participate in fit-to-standard workshops, supporting the identification of gaps and assessing the impact of required changes.

Design & Validation

Collaborate with SAP functional and technical consultants to design processes that reflect best practices in food manufacturing. Ensure SAP S/4HANA solution design supports regulatory compliance (e.g., CFIA, FDA, HACCP, traceability, allergen control). Foundational Knowledge

ERP Systems: Deep knowledge of various ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their specific modules, database structures, and integration capabilities is essential. Certifications from major vendors can validate this expertise. Manufacturing Processes: A comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle is crucial. This includes shop floor control, materials requirements planning (MRP), inventory control, supply chain management, quality assurance, and production scheduling. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies is a plus. Business Operations: Consultants must be familiar with core business functions like finance, accounting, human resources, and sales to ensure the ERP system seamlessly integrates all departments.

Technical Skills

System Analysis & Design: The ability to analyze a company's current systems and business processes, identify pain points, and design a future-state solution within the ERP framework. Configuration & Customization: Expertise in configuring the ERP software to meet specific business needs. This may involve tailoring workflows, user roles, and system settings.
