About the team:

• SAP Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) facilitates the evolving workspace environments, enhancing SAP\'s Brand, creating innovative and productive workplace solutions that engage talent, support growth, encompass social responsibility, and are diverse, safe and cost efficient.
• Candidate will be part of the GRF Canada team, who oversees the portfolio of six Canadian offices.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
Position Title: SAP Facilities Intern, SAP Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) Location: Toronto, Ontario. Hybrid role with 3 days/week on-site. Expected start date to end date: May, 2023
In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:
The Facilities Intern reports directly to the head of GRF Canada. Candidate is responsible for managing and consolidating internal data related to Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Health & Safety and space utilization. Candidate will summarize and report findings to all relevant parties. Candidate will align with local GRF coordinators, GRF management and other SAP departments to obtain data and work on assignments. Candidate will need to maneuver within our large organizational structure with multiple lines of businesses.

• Attend regular meetings related to EMS for the Montreal and Vancouver locations
• Support and extract data from SAP\xe2\x80\x99s lines of businesses and GRF. Report data via process set out by SAP. Check accuracy that data supports SAP\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives.
• Work with GRF\xe2\x80\x99s Health & Safety team as well as local joint health and safety committees to ensure Canadian sites are compliant.
• Gather data related to occupancy and utilization, as well as sustainability.
• Assist in the promotion of GRF within Canada via various mediums such as local newsletters
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide relevant information and deliverables in a timely manner
• Build relationships to get cooperation and action from people who have required information

Who you are:
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Knowledge of sustainability, health & safety and facility management is preferred
• Focus on quality, strong attention to detail and time management
• Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint to create and assist with deliverables
• Motivated people person who can work effectively within a team
• Current University Student that meets SAP intern requirements
• Minimum 20 hours per week required
• Candidate needs to work in the Toronto area
