What you'll do



Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Events & Communications

Location: Vancouver, BC (On-site)

Expected Start Date: 5 January 2026

Contract Duration: 8 months

Work Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)

The Events & Communications Intern will be responsible for managing event promotions, coordinating event logistics, and creating engaging communications for HCM Adoption Office. This role involves utilizing various communication channels to reach target audiences and ensuring seamless event execution.

Responsibilities:

Event Promotion and Management:Publish and update the HCM Adoption Office Event Calendar. Utilize various communication channels to reach target audiences (internal subscribers, newsletters, external web post, email templates for CSMs). Coordinate event dates and times. Liaise with speakers and assist with topic submissions. Set up and manage registration processes using the event platform. Collect and analyze data on event attendance, engagement, and feedback. Prepare post-event reports to evaluate event success and identify improvements.


Communications:Write and edit content for regular newsletters and blog posts. Create customer-focused campaign copy to drive engagement. Write and publish stories showcasing customer successes.

Education: Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's, master's or JD/PhD program.

Qualifications:Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and content management systems. Experience with event planning and management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:Basic knowledge of event registration platforms. Experience with social media management and email marketing.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 18-30 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
