About the team:

We invite you to apply for an exciting internship with the SAP Skill Management team. This team builds training models for consultants who need to stay ahead of the technology curve. As an intern, you will work with some of the best and brightest thought leaders in the training industry. More importantly, you will learn. We\'ll give you the opportunity to develop important skills like aligning training programs to meet business goals, designing fresh learning experiences, learning the ins-and-outs of change management, and digital marketing through social media platforms.

What you\'ll do:

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Digital Experience & Media Design Specialist

Location: Eastern Canada / Virtual

Length: 8 months

In this role, you\'ll:

Be joining our group of \xe2\x80\x9cCareer Starters\xe2\x80\x9d. You will be THE creative design talent on our team. Most of your work will fall within these four categories: media design for business application (presentations, internal marketing), drive user engagement through design excellence, translating business concepts to visual representations, non-media businesssupport activities.

Media Design for Business application activities:

• Taking complex concepts and turning them into simple illustrations
• Creating infographics as consulting enablement tools
• Creating business-savvy presentations using your original design ideas
• Supporting the Skill Management Team with their media design needs
• Produce original content for some of our internal consulting communities

Drive User Engagement Through Design Excellence activities:

• Improving the user experience and user engagement on our internal social media platform through data analysis and innovative design
• Ensuring Skill Management Team branding is consistently applied across learning offerings and internal consulting communities
• Managing a podcasting program
• Making good design decisions while incorporating changes recommended by project stakeholders

Business Support activities:

• Producing an original business case study on the topic of User Experience that will be used in future enablement activities
• Communicating with many different people, in various industries and positions, from around the world
• Schedule, advertise, and host online webcasts for the SAP internal communities

Who you are:

We\'re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

The ideal candidates will be 70% Media Designer, 20% Business Analyst, 5% Techie, 5% Excellent Communicator. A background that demonstrates that you can do media design but also other things will be given preference. Candidates should be a team player, have excellent communication skills and a passion for technology and business.

• Have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Must be able to create print-ready images and presentations

Need to be willing to learn and develop

• Advanced MS Powerpoint design skills
• Video and audio media creation and editing and be willing to expand in this field
• Blogging using different social media platforms

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP\'s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
