We have an exciting opportunity in Finance. We are currently looking to hire a Temporary SAP-Business Process Lead role.
What you will Do

Reporting to the Director, Accounting Policy & Systems Implementation for the TTC SAP Program, the Lead is responsible to provide subject matter expertise in the area of Finance to transform and modernize legacy business processes by leading the SAP Chart of Account Project and supporting other Subject Matter Experts in the Time & Attendance, Procurement Category and Materials Management projects.
You will be overseeing and performing a comprehensive review, rationalization, redesign and implementation of the TTC's Chart of Accounts structure within SAP and its integrating impacts to the overall SAP ecosystem platform. This role will be critical in aligning financial reporting needs with SAP best practices to support upcoming system upgrades, process improvements, and company-wide standardization initiatives. As the SAP Business Lead you will manage the entire process lifecycle (end to end) from project planning to testing and implementation ensuring operational excellence, dealing with any process exceptions that may occur during the implementation on behalf of the department.
You will be responsible for the identification and documentation of detailed business requirements for the Finance department and communicate them to the TTC SAP Project to maximize transformation benefits for Finance. This Includes providing business requirements to the business process design workshops, ensuring the to-be process delivers business value by supporting TTC's business process modernization and aligning to SAP best practices as led by the vendor consultants.
As the Lead, you will also work closely with the Director, Accounting Policy and Systems Implementation and SAP Project Manager in re-engineering business processes by collaborating with the other TTC Team Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Implementation Vendors and End Users/Stakeholders, guided by direction from the Project Sponsors or their Department Director/Head.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

Completion of a University/Community College degree/diploma in a relevant technical or business discipline e.g. Finance, Business Administration, Information Management Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, combined with directly related experience in systems development projects including tools, techniques, etc.
Must have strong knowledge of Chart of Accounts structure and design, with experience in expanding or restructuring a COA in an ERP environment.
Must have experience in systems analysis, design, and implementation.
Extensive knowledge of current business processes, system and end-user documentation concepts and practices as well as experience in ensuring effective quality assurance.
Extensive knowledge of analysis of reports and data, highlighting trends and areas of inefficiency.
Extensive knowledge of operational workflows and management approvals processes.
Extensive experience in documentation and process design techniques, process improvement and implementation.
Sound business judgement; highly developed analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills; excellent organizational, presentation, interpersonal, customer-service, verbal communication and technical writing skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy; must be solution-oriented.
Proficiency in the use of a Microsoft Office, Excel is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to plan for, work on multiple tasks at once, and prioritize and coordinate several assignments under pressure to meet project timelines.
Proven ability to effectively work with others in a team environment; to lead motivate, influence and obtain cooperation from team members and stakeholders to achieve the goals and objectives of the project.
Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
