Job Description

The SAP Business One, Business & Pricing Analyst is responsible for optimizing company operations through data-driven insights, accurate pricing governance, and system process improvements.

This hybrid role combines ERP (SAP Business One) administration, business process analysis, and pricing management, ensuring financial accuracy, margin integrity, and operational efficiency across departments.

The analyst serves as the bridge between Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT, supporting decision-making, automation, and profitability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Business One Administration & Support



Act as the primary system administrator for SAP Business One (v9.3 / v10).

Maintain user permissions, configurations, and master data (customers, vendors, price lists, SKUs, GL codes).

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues and coordinate with external consultants as required.

Support integration of add-ons and automation tools (MRP, FastBank, VersaPay, etc.).

Ensure data consistency across all business units and lead user training sessions on new features or processes.

2. Business Analysis & Process Optimization



Analyze workflows across Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Sales to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Document and implement improved standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Partner with team leads to translate business needs into system enhancements or automation projects.

Support MRP and budgeting automation initiatives, coordinating with internal and external partners.

Contribute to cross-departmental process documentation for HR, accounting, and operational continuity.

3. Pricing Strategy & Analysis



Maintain accurate price lists and coordinate updates across SAP, customer portals, and internal tools.

Analyze product margins, pricing trends, and competitor benchmarks to support strategic pricing decisions.

Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to establish customer-specific pricing programs and discount structures.

Monitor and reconcile pricing discrepancies (e.g., barcode mismatches, promotions, or bundled items).

Support the launch of new brands or product lines (e.g., Helix) by developing combined pricing frameworks and ensuring alignment across systems.

Provide monthly price/margin performance reports to management.

4. Reporting & Data Analytics



Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using Power BI, SAP Query, and Crystal Reports.

Produce recurring management reports: AR aging, inventory turnover, cash conversion, and sales performance.

Analyze data to identify revenue leakage, slow-moving inventory, or credit risks.

Present insights to senior leadership to inform financial and operational decision-making.

5. Project Management & Continuous Improvement



Lead or support ERP and pricing-related projects (system upgrades, process redesign, automation initiatives).

Participate in testing, user acceptance, and training during new implementations.

Document business requirements, track deliverables, and monitor project timelines.

Support compliance and audit readiness through consistent documentation and control updates.

Education & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.

3-5 years of experience working with SAP Business One in an analytical, functional, or administrative role.

Experience in pricing analysis, margin management, or financial planning is a strong asset.

Experience with ERP integrations, automation tools, or MRP modules preferred.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SAP Business One modules (Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Sales, MRP).

Strong command of Excel, Power BI, Crystal Reports, and SQL queries.

Understanding of pricing models, costing structures, and profitability metrics.

Familiarity with EDI, API, and SAP add-ons (Boyum, Produmex, etc.) considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,335.58-$85,417.93 per year
