Sanitation Worker
Reporting to the
Sanitation Manager
. Thesanitation worker
will be performing cleaning/sanitizing duties while wearingpersonal protective equipment
(water protection, gloves, and boots).Job Duties:
Sanitizing facility using high pressure washer hose Scrub and wipe machinery surfaces Apply chemicals and sanitizer to equipment Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists. Supports all teams with cleaning projects. Safely and effectively clean a variety of surfaces. Clean up meat residues, debris, and other packaging materials from area being washed
Qualifications and Skills
Food Plant Sanitation experience an asset Strong attention to detail Team player Ability to physically perform the duties of the position Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English Strong work ethic, initiative, and strive for quality work Ability to handle unpleasant tasks with a positive attitude Ability to work in a cold and wet environment Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Shift timing -
9:00 PM to 5:30 AM (Graveyard shift)This position requires working in a cold and wet environment during overnight (graveyard) hours.
