Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. This position requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of designated areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency in sanitation practices. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events or special occasions as needed.
Experience
Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols is a plus. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
