PURPOSE:

Made-Rite Meats is currently looking for full-time night shift sanitation workers.

Evening Shift: 6:00pm to 2:30am (start time is flexible).

Must be able to work in Canada or have an open work permit.

These positions require you to work in a cold environment. The right candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to work with other members of the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Clean and sanitize tools and equipment used in food production. Maintain and upkeep sanitation equipment. Mix and dispense cleaning chemicals, detergents, and sanitizers. Comply with all company policies and procedures, and all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Industrial Sanitation Experience preferred. Ability to withstand cold temperatures as plant is refrigerated. Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be success-driven and have a "can do" attitude. Must have reliable transportation as we are not on a bus route. Knowledge of GMP's and HACCP principles is preferred. Experience in the food or meat processing industries considered as asset.
