The Sanitation Worker is responsible ensuring cleanliness and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency by providing a safe and sanitary environment for the staff and production processes.
This position involves the following duties:
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and machinery to comply with food safety standards.
Disposing of waste and byproducts according to company policies and environmental standards.
Washing and disinfecting tools, surfaces, and other materials used in production.
Following workplace safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responding promptly to spills or accidents to mitigate risks.
Supporting additional cleaning and maintenance tasks during peak production periods, facility shut down, or as assigned.
