The Sanitation Worker is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of industrial equipment and machinery used in the production and packaging of salads. This includes washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing the conveyor lines and the floors within the facility according to food safety standards and procedures.
As this is an industrial environment, we will provide the PPE required (hard hats, steel-toe rubber boots, and rain gear).
Salary:
starting at $17.94/ hourShift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm - 08:30 pmMain Responsibilities
Spray, scrub, and clean the production and packaging machinery and equipment Use of air hoses to push the lettuce debris out from the production machines Empty the trash Disassemble and reassemble the scales to clean them Use of spray hoses to wash the conveyor lines Remove/dry condensation and water from the walls, ceiling, and floor Perform other related duties as required
Main Responsibilities

Relevant experience in a manufacturing or agribusiness environment is an asset Ability to do physical labor work in a refrigerated and humid environment (3C) for long periods of time Ability to speak and understand English Ability to lift loads up to 50 lb (some workstations) Flexible in working evenings/nights Ability to get to work on time for each shift Fast and efficient work speed Meticulous and attentive Willing to learn and listen Versatile and willing to help others * Teamwork
