The beefway is a family-owned abbatoir just north of beautiful Kincardine, Ontario that has been operating over 75 years. We process beef, pork, and lamb and package a number of other products including chicken.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as a team to disassemble, sanitize and reassemble the equipment

Following Food Safe practices, connecting with Quality Assurance team daily for feedback from their daily inspections

lifting 10-50lbs repetitively as well as bending, stooping and standing

Ensure Personal Protective Equipment is sanitized and organized for the morning's Production

Assisting Managers throughout the day to ensure production is running efficiently

Training provided for the right candidate

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience working in Manufacturing an asset

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as asset

Effective communication skills with a team-focused attitude

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - FINISH, no later than 10PM. This schedule is subject to change due to production demands and emergencies.
