The Sanitation Team Member is a valuable member of our team who is responsible for ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, particularly in food production and manufacturing settings.

What you'll do

Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas within the facility, including production lines, equipment, and common areas. Maintain janitorial standards by regularly inspecting and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to uphold sanitation protocols in food processing environments. Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of equipment as necessary to facilitate effective cleaning processes. Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly. Assist in training new staff on sanitation practices and procedures to promote a culture of cleanliness. Support warehouse operations by ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or a suitable alternative Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with safety regulations related to sanitation in the workplace. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of sanitation practices in food production or manufacturing environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
