Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each sandwich is made to perfection while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer orders and company recipes. Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations. Slice and package meats and deli items for customers and catering orders Operate and maintain meat and cheese slicers Keep deli showcase, clean, tidy and well-presented. Operate the POS system for processing customer transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations, required Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with cashiering, including operating POS systems, is beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed in the deli.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
