Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food service and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and food safety within a dynamic restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods Handle food safely by following sanitation and food handling protocols Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area in compliance with health regulations Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience Accurately handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for change and totals Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Restaurant or food industry experience is beneficial for understanding food safety standards and sanitation practices Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
