Edge Catering is an established, thriving corporate and event catering company. Our custom-built facility is located in the East Village and features a Cafe, 5000sq ft. catering kitchen, baking and pastry kitchen, tasting room and offices.
We are looking for an experienced catering cook to join our team.
General Responsibilities:
Prep and package daily order for corporate and special events
Able to work with a team of 3 - 4 teammates
Follow detailed worksheet orders
Make allergy specific item to customers needs
Integrate with our team and work environment
Follow all recipes and standards
Write and follow prep lists
Organize and maintain freezers, fridges and storage
Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work spaces
Requirements:
2 years experience as a cook or in food service
FoodSafe level 1
Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)
We are currently hiring for full time and part time positions. Full time schedule is usually Monday-Friday with 6-7 am start times depending on volume. Weekend and part-time days may vary depending on business.
We are looking for an energetic, dialed-in professional candidate with a great attitude, coachable, has leadership qualities and solid skills in the kitchen.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
