Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick service setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to company policies regarding cash handling. Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing meats, chopping vegetables, and preparing sauces. Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the food preparation process. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of menu offerings.

Experience

Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience using POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory are required. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous, along with knowledge of retail math related to food service operations. Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
