Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Participate in training sessions to enhance food preparation skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Skills

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in roles involving food handling and preparation. Strong cashiering skills with an emphasis on accuracy in cash handling. Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and work as part of a team. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure the highest quality of food is served. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
