The

Sandblaster

will be responsible for sandblasting commercial fleet vehicles and heavy equipment to prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring the highest quality finish.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform sandblasting operations on commercial fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, effectively removing old paint, rust, and debris to create a smooth surface for painting. Set up sandblasting equipment, including air compressors, sandblasting nozzles, hoses, and safety gear. Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the sandblasting process. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment for oneself and others. Inspect surfaces after sandblasting to ensure thorough and uniform preparation. Identify any areas that require further attention and communicate with the painting team to ensure a seamless workflow.

Requirements:

Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field preferred. Knowledge of sandblasting equipment setup, operation, and maintenance. Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures when working with abrasive materials. Attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work. A valid driver's license and dependable transportation for commuting to and from the workplace are essential.
