• Perform machine and tool setups independently on thermoforming machines to produce limited run product samples
• Prepare and repair sample molds as required
• Understand and check the quality of the samples and follow the quality guidelines
• Maintain and check inventory of raw materials (e.g., Ren board, Aluminum, Proto-block, Plastic Rolls, Tools and dies) on regular basis and arrange orders of replacement material
• Make wooden crates and packing to tools for shipment
• Prepare packages for courier parcels
• Assist with tooling maintenance as required
• Diligently follow lockout / tag out procedures whenever required
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in own work area and around work units
• Perform all work in a safe manner and fully comply with the Safety and Quality (GMP) policies and procedures of the Company
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management

What We Need From You

• Minimum high school diploma preferably mechanical technologist
• Good mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Lift and move product / parts / boxes when required
• Able to use different measuring instruments like vernier caliper and micrometer
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Experience in the thermoforming/plastics processing will be an asset
• Able to operator crane, narrow aisle, forklift (Training will be provided where required)
• Team player with multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to analyze data, keep proper records and trouble shoot process related problems
• Strong communication in English (verbal and written)
