Sample Logistics Technician

Job Description




Receive and organize all client samples Data entry Unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and / or received date Ensure all required samples are redirected as required Ensure accuracy of results and data entry Recognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the Supervisor Adhere to Bureau Veritas' quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements. Adhere to Bureau Veritas' safety policies. All other responsibilities as assigned


High School Diploma Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments Energetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are required




High level of work production in fast-paced lab environment Flexible working hours, overtime and shift work, weekends Changing priorities and balancing workload to meet tight deadlines Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs) and may involve long periods of standing Hazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment *
