Collect samples from various retail establishments within 100 km radius of the area
Document and ship samples to various laboratories across Canada
Perform supporting administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with client guidelines
Keep all records and documentation organized and readily accessible
Proactively communicate with your supervisor and the customer service department as appropriate
Monitor/calibrate temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature guns and any other required equipment
Receive, prioritize and organize samples submitted by internal/external clients
Work within established SOPs and QA/QC protocols
Identify and notify the customer service team of any non-conformance related to sample integrity
Manage work efficiently in conjunction with other members of the team (including members of Customer Service and Lab); contribute to successful TAT objectives
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS [Minimum Requirements]:
Minimum high school education.
Need to perform repetitive physical work as required and according to deadlines established by the supervisor.
Good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
Ability to accurately follow instructions.
Comfortable working with a computer.
Good communication skills, problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and tight timelines.
Must be able to lift up to 40Lbs.
Must possess a valid Driver\'s license and access to personal vehicle for daily use (will reimburse mileage)
