Job Title: Full time/part time receptionist

Schedule: Full time (Tues-Sat)
Estimated start date: Oct 2, 2025
At Tangles Hair Salon, we believe great hair starts with great service. Our Team of passionate stylists creates a welcoming and upbeat environment for every client who walks through the door. We're now looking for a full-time receptionist who can bring that same energy and warmth to our front desk.
What you'll do:
- Greet every client with a smile and warm welcome
- Manage salon appointment scheduling (by phone, online, and in person)
- Process client check-ins, payments, and retail product sales
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries professionally
- Team player with a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Support online and social media marketing
- Help with everyday cleaning as needed
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role an asset (salon experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer systems
- Ability to promote social media posts such as Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok

Tangles Hair Salon is Prince George's newest hair salon, and we are dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best. Preference to a stylist with clientele who is a talented and passionate hair stylist to join our growing team and would love to meet you!
What you'll do:
- Provide cutting, coloring, styling and treatment services to clients
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend styles
- Stay up to date on current trends, techniques and products
- Build lasting relationships and grow clientele
- Maintain a clean and professional working environment
- Work collaboratively with fellow stylists and salon staff
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a stylist or strong portfolio if new to the industry
- Creative and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Team player who is eager to grow and learn
