About us:

Status Barbershop isn't your average barbershop -we're a culture hub and a grooming destination. Known for our clean fades, sharp designs, and top-tier customer service, we're looking for a driven, organized, and social-media-savvy Salon Coordinator to keep our operation flowing smoothly through our busiest season. Our award-winning shop is equipped with a team of award-winning barbers, and we're looking for an individual who can match our fast-paced environment and support our team with all their needs. We're offering a 3 month contract to start, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

What You'll Do:

Greet clients and manage their check-ins with professionalism and energy Book appointments and coordinate the barbers' schedules Answer calls, DMs, and walk-in inquiries Keep the shop tidy and running efficiently Make social media posts and story updates on our Instagram (photos, reels, captions, etc.) Occasionally run errands (having a valid driver's license is preferred) Support with general admin and daily operations Serve espressos and alcohol - our location is equipped with a liquor license and stocked bar (Smart Serve required)

What We're Looking For:

Confident communicator with great energy Customer service experience (bonus if it's in a salon/barber/hospitality setting) Social media skills (Instagram: posting, caption writing, stories, reels) Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask A valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Smart Serve certified

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Work Location: In person
